Meta for Business (Facebook)

https://facebook.com/business »

I joined Facebook (now Meta) in 2019 as a contractor through Crystal Equation to support the rapidly growing Small Business unit. Initially, I managed the entire Small Business web presence on my own, but over time the work expanded into a dedicated team of eight Web Developers—most of whom I personally onboarded.

I created and maintained global multimedia marketing campaigns and UI assets for Meta’s global Business audience. My work included collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—Marketing Managers, Designers, Marketing Operations, Engineers, and Internationalization (i18n) specialists—to scope campaigns and lead technical execution.

I developed UI and internal applications using React and Hack, integrating them into Meta’s in-house CMS platform. These builds adhered to Accessibility and i18n standards and introduced new capabilities that empowered other CMS developers. I also provided technical mentorship and onboarding support to new developers.

To streamline onboarding and cross-team collaboration, I established standardized technical documentation and specifications—resources that remain essential for both developers and non-technical stakeholders.

After my initial contract under Crystal Equation, I transitioned to TEKsystems, where I continued my work at Meta and also assisted in interviewing and onboarding new developer candidates across multiple Meta teams, including Global Business Marketing and Reality Labs.

Additionally, I built a scalable email template infrastructure originally designed for the Small Business team, which was later adopted by multiple teams across the company for global campaigns.
